Monitoring that stays yours.
Matmon is a lightweight, Docker-first alternative to the big monitoring suites. Sensors, probes, alerts, wallboards and reports – running on your own host, with an optional cloud when you want reach.
Run it yourself
Everything you need to watch your stack
From a single Raspberry Pi to a fleet of sites – one clean interface, one clear signal.
See it in action
The real Matmon interface, watching public infrastructure. Not a mockup – switch the site to dark mode and the screenshots follow.

The dashboard – counts, the sensor status at a glance, highlighted sensors and every live value.

One tree for the whole estate – probes, folders, hosts and sensors with their live values.

Every sensor with its channels, thresholds and statistics for the last hour, day and week.

The central log – what switches, firewalls and servers report, and the SNMP traps of a UPS, in one live, searchable list (here from demo devices).

A push sender in two clicks: pick the ntfy preset (or Pushover, Gotify, Telegram, Teams, Slack, Discord) and the request is filled in.

A wallboard built from widgets, on the screen on the wall through its read-only link.

Every page works on a phone: the menu becomes a drawer, tables become cards.

Run it yourself
On any Docker host or as a Windows service. Everything Matmon keeps – configuration, history and the cloud link – stays on your machine.

Updates itself. With the Docker socket mounted, or as a Windows service, Matmon installs new versions on request or in a nightly window – and goes back if the new one does not come up.

ghcr.io/real-ttx/matmon:latestThe socket line lets Matmon pull its new image and replace its own container. It gives the container control over Docker on that machine – leave it out where that is not acceptable, and update with docker compose pull instead.
64-bit Windows. Matmon runs as the Windows service Matmon, with an icon in the notification area, and updates itself. The online setup fetches the newest build during setup and checks its checksum and signature first. Without a setup: matmon-windows-x64.zip · newest features: nightly channel.
